MASSIMO DONATI will be on OpenGoal Sport this Monday to talk about his career with Simon Ferry and they released a tiny snippet of what we can expect.
We say tiny snippet but it’s more of a revelation as to how the midfielder ended up signing for Celtic.
Donati attributes the move to world-class striker at the time Andriy Shevchenko who personally called him on Celtic’s behalf to see if he would sign for the club.

Massimo signed for the club under Gordon Strachan at the time and had some memorable moments in the Hoops – with the Shakhtar Donetsk winner being a particular highlight.
The former Celt is now a fully fledged member of the Celtic family, even getting a tattoo of the clubs crest on his arm.
Used to watch Massimo in the reserves, after strapon decided he could run oot his Celtic career there. He and Koki Misumo were always Motm. But then thats when Neil Lennon and Danny McGrain were the bosses, well Neil was getting his badges. And often sat up with the crowd. Including him, there was about sixty other Timz and their walking stick’s and Zimmers. Nae luck second string, how many watch them now??
