AARON MOOY has become Celtic’s FIFTH summer signing after signing a deal with the Scottish Champions. [CELTICFC]

The Australian has been without a club since he ripped up his contract with Shanghai port in China earlier this year.

Celtic haven’t divulged contract length as of yet.

Ange has decided to bring his former Socceroos star into the fold in a bid to beef up his squad ahead of a hectic season.

The Bhoys are facing around 60 games this season, and they need strength in depth. Not to mention we’re down three midfielders with Soro, Bitton and Rogic all exiting the club this summer.

Mooy brings a real pedigree with him and knows exactly how the manager wants to play. Some might have said Tom Rogic wouldn’t have been able to fit into an Ange Postecoglou team, but Ange knew Tom well and got the best out of him last season.

We hope Aaron can make a big contribution to the team this year and can help Ange and the bhoys bring home more silverware.

  1. Surprised he has come to Celtic. He needs playing time for the World cup. Once his country is eliminated what then. Our budget has been met so it’s what we can get I suppose. I fear the Champions League as it’s awful seeing your team get skelped and learn nothing from it!!!
