Celtic have sent their developmental star Calvin Miller out on loan to Dundee with the hope of the player getting much needed first team football.

Calvin has been on the periphery of the first team squad for a while now but could only get in as a makeshift left back when Kieran Tierney was injured last term.

The player is heading to Dundee but it’s unclear if Rodgers has sent the player out as a front man or a full back.

Calvin will play under Neil McCann and also join up with former Celtic striker Kenny Miller who has just agreed to join Dundee after a very short stint at Livingston.

Celtic are planning on loaning out a few more young players before the deadline this evening and look to be pressing on with business.

The bhoys are still hopeful of getting the Filip Benkovic loan deal over the line before tonight’s cut off.
