The first Celtic exit of the January window has been confirmed on Thursday afternoon. Ewan Henderson has signed with Hibernian on loan for the rest of the season and has already pre-agreed a three year deal with the Edinburgh side. [Sky Sports]

Ewan’s opportunities at Celtic have been few and far between after signing a three year deal back when Brendan Rodgers was in charge.

The player has been in the sidelines for most of the season. Being too old for the B side and not considered good enough for the first team.

Ewan undoubtedly has talent and can now show what he’s really made of under former Celtic star Shaun Maloney who has got off to a good start at Easter Road.

We obviously don’t wish Ewan the best when he’s up against Celtic but we do genuinely hope he thrives for Hibernian.

Can he outdo his brother Liam in a Hibees jersey? Considering Liam was part of the side who brought home the Scottish Cup in spectacular fashion – it will take some doing.

  1. I thought Ewan like his brother Liam would make it at Celtic and still do.
Just maybe he will be wanted by the Bhoys after the loan period HH ?
