Reports from London have claimed Spurs and Celtic are in talks over a loan move for Victor Wanyama with an option to by at the end of the loan deal. A claim coming from the Evening Standard.
However, respected Scottish journalist who usually gets the Celtic scoops is playing down the move and inferred he has spoke to someone at the club about the possibility.

It’s deadline day so rumours will be flying around like they’re going out of fashion. Social media can work fast and fans can get excited and deflated within a matter of minutes.
McGowan didn’t outright rule the move out like he has done in the recent past when false links have popped up. However, he’s here to be the wet blanket to our dreams.
We’ll be keeping an eye on this throughout the day but it wouldn’t be the first time we got our hopes up and then fell flat.
