DORUS DE VRIES looks set to be given the nod at Celtic Park on Wednesday due to Scott Bain not being permitted to play against his parent club.
Celtic take on Dundee in a rescheduled tie from last month due to adverse weather conditions.
At the time, Dorus de Vries was Celtic’s number one but since the Ibrox win where Dorus sat out with a back injury, he’s not been between the sticks.
Scott is set to leave Dundee in the summer, potentially for a permanent move to the Scottish champions. Having fallen out with Neil McCann earlier in the season, the goalkeeper was shipped out on-loan to Hibs before Celtic’s deadline day intervention that seen Bain walk through the doors of Celtic Park.
Craig Gordon is back in training but unless he’s fully ready to go, Brendan Rodgers won’t risk the Scottish International.
Celtic go into the game knowing they’re only a matter of days/weeks to their seventh consecutive title. It will be up to Dorus to show his worth in Bain’s absence.
