CELTIC has been handed a DOUBLE BOOST ahead of tomorrow nights game against Rosenborg with the news that both Leigh Griffiths and Erik Sviatchenko both participated in a full training session this morning.
The squad, who are due to fly out to Norway later today, were at Lennoxtown for last minute preparations and both players who were ruled out of the first leg look like they’re winning their fitness battle.
Leigh Griffiths is much more pivotal to Celtic’s plans and barring a massive setback, should start in Norway.
Kristoffer Ajer has eased Celtic’s defensive worries by putting in a solid display in the first leg, so even though Erik is back in full training, he may not be rushed back by the Celtic boss.
Celtic found chances hard to come by last Wednesday in Glasgow without a recognised striker and Leigh doing a full session will give the supporters encouragement.
