CELTIC will at least have a double boost ahead of their semi final tie with The Rangers next month.

Longtime injured duo Craig Gordon and Stuart Armstrong look on schedule to be in contention to be part of Celtic’s double treble push.

Gordon has been out injured since lat January while Stuart Armstrong is yet to play a game for Celtic in 2018. However, both players are looking on course for a comeback sooner rather than later and could add a much needed boost to Celtic’s trophy charge!

Armstrong was not on the best run of form before his injury, some time on the sidelines would have made the midfielder hungry to try and recapture last years form that seen him score against the Ibrox side and help Celtic towards the treble. The Scot has been back in training and could be back a while before the semi final takes place.

Craig Gordon has been missed since going out injured with fans not convinced by Dorus de Vries to this point. The Dutch goalkeeper will have Ibrox game to stake his claim for Hampden spot if Craig Gordon is available.

  1. I want all players to be available, but it’s not like Armstrong in particular, was in anything like decent form
Pre injury. If we are to be honest he was really poor this season

  2. The more the merrier, it’s been a run of bad injuries and setbacks. But I have faith in the whole squad, they have turned up on the big occasions. Who wouldn’t enjoy a pop at your annoying little neighbours.
‘Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.’

  3. Craig Gordon is a must fit for the semi final. Dorus de Vries is not Celtic quality. The defenders around him seem unsettled by his lack of command in the box. Get well soon Craig, we need you back!
