According to reports, the SPFL are looking to pencil the Glasgow Derby at Celtic Park immediately after the split.
This means if it goes ahead like this, Celtic will play The Rangers in the Scottish Cup on the 14th April at Hampden and then again a week later in the league at Celtic Park on the 21/22nd April.
Celtic head to Ibrox this weekend looking to extend their gap at the top to 9 points with a game in hand.
By the time the Celtic Park game comes around Celtic could be out of sight. A win for the Ibrox club would get their tails up but it would take a herculean effort to dislodge Celtic from their trophy ambitions this season.
Celtic players will relish the double header.
