Ange Postecoglou can be delighted with his night’s work in Budapest after watching his team pick up the victory against Ferencvaros. The bhoys weren’t at full strength but they still managed to be more than a match for the home side.
Celtic scored three through Kyogo, Jota and Abada, and although the game went to 3-2 in the end, the scoreline wasn’t reflective of the performance. Celtic were comfortable for most of the game.
There were a couple of injury concerns after the game. Two starters on the night, Nir Bitton and Stephen Welsh both had scares. It’s the last thing Celtic need is to see more people going off injured.
However, Ange cleared up the duo’s status and it looks like both will be ok for Dundee.,
Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou says Nir Bitton went off with cramp. Stephen Welsh will be assessed but he doesn’t think it’s too serious.

Welsh and Bitton wouldn’t have started tonight if Rogic and Starfelt were fit, it would be a blow to lose both or either right now considering the squad is thin.
Thankfully both should be ready for the Dundee game on Sunday.
