BRENDAN RODGERS looks more than likely to play not one but two Frenchmen in attack on Tuesday night in Armenia.

The Irishman has been working on a new system to facilitate both Odsonne Edouard and Moussa Dembele with the pair linking up rather well.

Brendan praised Celtic’s run out against Shamrock Rovers at the weekend but did say they still have a long ways to go if they are to be completely comfortable with the new system.

The only thing that could possibly derail the chance of both men starting up front is the absence of Leigh Griffiths down to injury.

The Scottish striker has been left in Glasgow ahead of the club’s Champions League qualifier – so there would be no natural striker on the bench.

However, this could be negated by Scott Sinclair who has looked good in pre-season so far but has been largely playing what’s perceived as Brendan Rodgers second string.

If Scotty starts on the bench then it gives Rodgers the freedom to change it up if players get fatigued or he wants to tweak the system.

It should be an interesting game and give us some insight into what we can expect from this Celtic team going forward.
