Celtic dropped more points in the SPFL on Sunday, drawing 1-1 with Dundee Utd and falling further behind in the title race.

Celtic took the lead through Liel Abada but the lead only last two minutes. Slack defending meant Celtic conceded and from there, the game could have gone either way.

If Celtic’s first eleven can’t do the business right now, we have very little on the bench, if anything, to give us an extra spark. It proved to be the case again today.

James McCarthy was having another poor game and was subbed off at half time for Ismaila Soro. The midfielder played the second half and was absolutely abysmal.

His passing was terrible, fouling Dundee Utd players when he never needed to and generally looked so off what we need.

These Celtic fans have seen enough.

The title race looks less of a race and more of an inevitability at this point. Celtic look incapable of putting a run together with so many call offs.

We knew the rebuild would be shaky, but the players we have to call on at the moment are simply not good enough.

  1. Keep the faith if therangers were flying i could understand the negativity but they are not playing any better tan we are tbf.Massive differeence beteen us is they have virtually a full squad to call upon, once we get CalMac,Forrest,Julien,Kyogu,Juranovic and Dembele back and dont have to call on the likes of a not fully match fit McCarthy(due to lack of bodies)then integrate promising young players Scales,Shaw,Uroghide then add to that the Errevidesse top scorer Giakoumakis (no reason to doubt he will run riot inBhoys, the SPFL)we will have a championship winning side of that i have no doubt, only thigagainst us is time and no more bad injury luck.If it doesn’t happen this season the next year we should be primed for trebles again, remember most of us were in agreement(including short memoried so called pundits who are quick to jump on the Celtic in CRISIS bandwagon) that given what Ange inherited TIME is the least he should be given.
We know what Ange is trying to build so remember “WE DONT CARE WHETHER WE WIN LOSE OR DRAW,WHAT THE HELL DO WE CARE FOR WE ONLY KNOW THAT THERES GONNA BE A SHOW AND THE GLASGOW CELTIC WILL BE THERE” HAIL HAIL

  2. The ghost of lennon still lingers – ajeti so lazy sorro bull in a China shop barkas thats £13 mill , ange can’t get the better of mcallister martindale or the legend tam coutts !!

  3. theRangers do need to be flying at all this season. We are 7 games in and they are 6 points in front. We will not catch them for the rest of the season. Confidence is taking a hammering every game. It would be better if we didn’t play for a month. Our next 4 games could easily result in 4 defeats! The germans will hammer us on Thursday. Then Pittodrie, then Motherwell away and then Easter Road (where we haven’t won in 7 or 8 years!). By November we will probably be about 12 points behind. Then the supporters want Ange sacked. The board will be conscious of letting Lennon hang on and only making things worse. We are 6th after a relatively easy start to the season. The writing is on the wall. We have 9 months of this disaster to endure. We may not come second. Players are terrified. Ajeti hid most of the second half. Turnbull is shocking and as for Soro and McCarthy, well what can you say. Dreadful. Everyone fancies it against us. If a team scores against us they will more than likely win. We do not have the players to make a come back or hold on to a lead. Start to prepare for next season.

Ange has had some money but what he won’t get is time. Every result and performance like yesterday shortens his time at the club. Celtic need to win 27 out of the 31 games left to have a small chance of winning the league. I would not bet on Celtic to win more than 3 games before Christmas. Forget about the BS about supporters being behind Ange ball the supporters are already tiring of him. He has only won about 2 of his past 6 games. He’s done. And with the results which will surely follow he is a dead man walking. Better to face it and deal with it rather than let it fester like Lennon.
