According to reports this evening, Dundee is set to sensationally cast their vote for the controversial SPFL proposal.

Take it with a massive pinch of salt considering the source is Keith Jackson’s Record Sport, but if true, the proposal would have enough support to see all lower leagues come to a close. The SPFL would be left open for business for the foreseeable until the season is either played out or it’s deemed it 100% can’t continue.

Dundee’s vote has been the subject of much discussion over the past four days. The Rangers are crying conspiracies as they’d rather just have the prize money without their rivals be crowned champions during a difficult period.

We’ll learn more in the next 24 hours with the SPFL set to hold a meeting on Tuesday about the proposal. It would have a whole different complexion if Dundee’s vote does come through in the end.
