According to Turkish Site, Webaslan.com Galatasaray wants former Celtic striker John Guidetti but the Swede would love a move back to Celtic.
The former Man City man has been spinning his wheels in La Liga an made a permanent move to Alaves for €4million in the summer.
However, apparently, the player isn’t enjoying his spell in Spain anymore and is looking for a way out with Galatasaray interested in the former Celtic frontman.
Having made six appearances for Alaves in La Liga so far and is yet to find the net – could the nomadic footballer be on the move again?
It’s highly unlikely Guidetti would actively promote a move to Celtic after some of the parting shots he took at the club when he left.
After a blistering first half of the season at the club, the Swede fell away under Ronny Deila and Leigh Griffiths became the man at Celtic Park.
Guidetti’s ego has always been a problem for the player who has obvious talent but maybe a bigger mouth than he needs at times.
We would chalk this up to the start of silly season! Celtic will be in the market for a striker in January but probably not John.
