It’s open season on Celtic and rumours when it comes to the managerial situation at the club.

Neil Lennon is in the job at Celtic and while he’s the manager, talk of a replacement is simply rumours and innuendo.

Jim White who is known to Celtic fans as someone who supports the other side of town has made the claim Peter Lawwell has been spotted golfing with former Bournemouth manager. Eddie Howe in Scotland.

There’s a portion of the fan base who would like to see Eddie come in at some point in the future and this will fan the flames it could be possible.

Speaking on his talkSPORT show as cited by SunSport, Jim said: “One name that keeps on getting mentioned, and I cannot confirm this, but it’s been reported to me that Eddie Howe was in Scotland recently playing golf with Peter Lawwell.

“Eddie Howe is ready to take a job back in football. Would Eddie Howe be the man for Celtic?

“With all due to respect to Neil who I know is still in the job and I apologise for talking like this, but we have to.

“Would Howe be the man? If you’re a Celtic fan, would you want him?”

As we say, Neil Lennon is still in the job and has the backing of the board. A vocal number of supporters are unsure Neil is the man to turn things around but it looks like he’ll be given every opportunity to do so.

We take no pleasure in what’s going on and would be delighted to see Neil be the man to lead us to the ten.

It’s a bit of a mess between the club and supporters at the minute. We need to start winning, and quickly.
