CELTIC were linked with a loan move for Premier League winger Jordan Ibe by SunSport on Thursday evening but it would appear there’s absolutely nothing in it at the moment.

The Bournemouth player looks to be on the periphery of the squad but not if you talk to his gaffer Eddie Howe who has described the player as an ‘integral’ part of his squad.

Ibe, who has also played for Liverpool has reportedly been in demand this summer but the club would like to hold onto him.

Asked if Ibe could leave the club in the next few weeks, Eddie Howe told the Bournemouth Echo: “No, Jordon is an integral part of our squad.”

Celtic are still looking to bolster their squad before the window closes – or at least we think they are!

Since dropping out of the Champions League, the club look more wary of parting with the money in the bank.

Celtic fans want to see a reaction and get a lift from new faces coming into the club. Right now, it looks like Ibe won’t be one of them if the bhoys do manage to do dip into the market.
