It has been the question all week – will Odsonne Edouard start the cup final against The Rangers – the answer is no.

The Frenchman has only made the bench for Hampden after failing to fully recover from an injury in time.

Leigh Griffiths isn’t even on the bench for Celtic today after getting some game time lately.

The good news is, Elyounoussi starts for the bhoys and we have a really strong bench.

Forrest back out on the right while Moi in and Christie in the centre. It’s a massive day for Lewis Morgan and it’s reminiscent of Rodgers and Lennon throwing Mikey Johnston into the deep end in this fixture. Let’s hope Lewis can prove the doubters wrong.

There’s goals in the team and a mixture of experience and youth. Frimpong coming from nowhere this season to playing in the cup final is a big story in itself. Hayes in at left back.

  1. Aye I like griff aswell when he’s fit he’s a dangerous striker but the more worrying for me is I didn’t even see him their celebrating with the team and we all know what he’s like and he’s usually right in the middle of it playing or not so it’s a bit ? like that is if you like the player right enough but as far as I can tell he’s pretty much loved so ? man hope he’s OK did anybody see him their hail hail

  2. The team today was brutal McGregor and brown were never getting forward and can’t get forward there play is stale, Forrest
was out on a limb from slow play from the midfield ,the 2 in the middle offered nothing, played nothing forward and protected nothing at the back, this has been the case for 6 weeks in the league and the forwards have bailed us out most of the time neil is riding his luck but hibs and Motherwell will nail us if he tries that team again we need forward midfielders in hard games not ball watchers
