SCOTT BAIN has become a wanted man.

The goalkeeper who made a surprise deadline day switch to the Champions after briefly signing for Hibs on-loan earlier in January is out of contract in the summer and not short of options.

With Bain’s time at Dundee coming to an end after falling out with struggling manager Neil McCann, the 26-year-old has a big decision to make about his future.

Scott is able to sign a pre-contract agreement for any side at the moment as his Dundee contract runs down and we’re yet to see Celtic’s hand.

The news that Bain is available on a pre-contract has not been lost on Neil Lennon who obviously rates the stopper and Craig Levein who is looking for a new potential number one.

Reports from the Capital and Dundee say both clubs will try and convince Bain that his future lies with them but the goalkeeper is eyeing the Celtic number one spot.

If Bain makes the position his own in the last stretch of games for the Scottish Champions you can be sure the club will offer him a deal.

It remains to be seen if Rodgers will continue with the loan keeper if Dorus de Vries is fit.

Most Celtic fans feel Bain deserves his chance.
