ODSONNE EDOUARD spoke about Olivier Ntcham’s move to Marseille and believes his friend is ready to make an impact for the French side.

Oli and Eddy have become good friends over the past three years at the club.

Ntcham finally got his move away from Celtic in January when Marseille loaned the player with a view to buy in the summer.

Neil Lennon had been using Olivier sparingly before the move and it was probably beat for all parties for him to move in January. Celtic had adequate cover in the middle of the park which made the decision a no brainer.

Speaking to Telefoot, Edouard believed the midfielder is a strong character and he’ll make a big impression between now and the end of the season.

“I see him succeeding at OM. He has the qualities, mentally he is ready. He is a player with a strong character, it will make a good mix with the supporters of OM”

Eddy could be the next Frenchman to leave the club in the summer. The striker is heading into the final year of his Celtic deal and the expectation is Celtic will cash in on the player after this season.
