Odsonne Edouard has delighted the Celtic support by declaring he’s back in training ahead of Celtic’s vital double header against Suduva and The Rangers this week.

The French striker has been out since the second leg over in Athens where the bhoys fell to a disappointing defeat and dropped out of the Champions League.

Since then, Celtic’s biggest ever signing has not been able to take part in first team training and has been unavailable for selection.

Before Edouard got injured Brendan Rodgers was working on a brand new formation which incorporated both Eddy and Dembele in attack and it looked good in the early stages of pre-season.

The Irishman might resist the temptation to throw Eddy in from the start against Suduva but he might see some game time and be more than ready to take on The Rangers.

The big man scored a brace the last time the Ibrox club came to town, when Celtic won the league with a thumping win.
