ODSONNE EDOUARD helped pile the pressure on his former Celtic boss on Sunday afternoon with his new side Crystal Palace coming from two goals down to draw the game 2-2.

Brendan Rodgers has not had a good start to the season with his Leicester side and they currently languish in the bottom half of the table.

There was a tangible link between Eddy and Leicester during the summer but the former Hoops manager opted NOT to sign the Frenchman. Eddy didn’t get on the scoresheet today but he did help his side to a credible draw.

Rodgers is finding the going tough and if he’s angling for that elusive top four finish – the former invincible manager has a long way to go.

Eddy was signed on loan from PSF by Rodgers during the irishman’s spell at the club. The manager then pushed Celtic to break their record transfer fee for the French striker at £9m.

Last season was horrible for Celtic and Edouard, the player was clearly looking to move on and his form never properly recovered after football returned.
