CELTIC are far from done in the transfer market, even after they manage to get the Hatem Abd Elhamed deal over the line.
The club are in a transition period after a large personnel turnover with over eleven players leaving the club this summer.
There has been three in the door so far with Elhamed hopefully making it four. However, Neil Lennon confirmed Celtic were still in the market for more players. When asked about his interest in Ecqudorian wonder kid Jose Cifuentes, he acknowledged a Celtic interest in the player as confirmed by SunSport.
The 20-year-old defensive midfielder has already spoken about heading to the UK to play football and has mentioned Celtic by name.
“My aim is to play in Europe. I don’t know which club I will sign for yet – either Manchester City or Celtic.” the player confirmed a few weeks back as cited by SunSport.
