Bayern Munich look set to FINALLY complete the deal for Celtic youngster Barry Hepburn according to reports in Germany.
It hasn’t been much of a secret with the young Celtic player being cherry-picked for the Bayern academy. There’s another twist for Celtic this afternoon though, with reported target Aaron Hickey set to visit their training headquarters with a view to signing with the German club.
It was only Tuesday evening when former manager Craig Levein admitted Celtic had been relentless trying to sign Hickey since the Treble treble cup final [Read Here]. The left-back who has been on Celtic’s books in the past broke through into the first team and was one of the better players last season as Hearts fell to relegation.
It appears Bayern are going to continue to be a thorn in Celtic’s side when it comes to taking young players.
Their academy seems primed and focused to hoover up young talent and put them through their state of the art youth system.
