CELTIC had two fantastic chances early in the second half, both of which should have seen the net bulging; both squandered.

Eddy should have hit the net in the six-yard box then Moi had it on a plate and took the heaviest touch you’re ever likely to see to squander the opportunity.

It sums up Celtic’s season that even when we do everything just about right, we shoot ourselves in the foot and become our own worst enemy,

The Hoops have been very poor this season and the game at Ibrox just compounds everything that’s been wrong with this team.

We’ve had no luck but we’ve also not been clinical.

The Hoops will now end their first season without a trophy in over ten years.

A rebuild next season of epic proportions to attempt to address the major shortcomings in this Celtic side.

There will be more players in the squad today who will be elsewhere after the summer and it’s up to the new man, whoever that might be, to do the business.

We can’t be as bad as this season again. Can we?

  1. They have managed us easily not even getting out of second gear. Celtic have lots of the ball but can do nothing with it, this team is dead. Eddy takes a million off his price every time he plays. 15 million will see him sign for a Southampton or Brighton. Most of them look OK against St Mirren, Livingstone but in big games they are not good enough. Let them all go. Only Turnbull is worth keeping. New manager should be brought in this week plus having to listen to the Celtic TV commentary. I had to turn it off after an hour. How about a bit of honesty Celtic are crap and this has been a crap season. Kennedy should go as soon as possible. Play young players until the end of the season. Kennedy should be sacked for selecting Laxalt alone. He is down there with the all-time worst signings.

    • Agree with 1st part but scapegoating Laxalt & Kennedy is OTT.
No one saying Laxalt played well but worst signing? He’s not even worst signing this season as anyone who has seen Shane Duffy will testify to.
As usual Christie & McGregor anonymous against Sevco but will escape any criticism.
Bain & Taylor also nowhere near good enough and the prospect of McGregor replacing Broonie as captain filks me with dread

  2. While there might be questions about Laxlait and Kenney the biggest concern is that Eduoard has gone from saviour to saboteur. Whatever his motives he should never be allowed to pull on a Celtic jersey again. Sell him and Christie now!!! I don’t know if it’s tactics relating to engineering a transfer, something rotten within the club or the idiots that threw bricks and bottles at the supporters bus outside Parkhead but these two no longer have anything to offer CFC and need to go now. They have become a toxic entity within the team and are clearly working against us.

  3. EDDY – Twinkle toes, pass it ya muppet
Kenny – Get him away, useless
Christie – Knows he offski – lazy, useless
Ajer – Another duffer, looks knackered, wobbly heid
Welsh – Needs a good CH beside him….NOT Ajer
Laxalt – Bye Bye, not good enough
McGregor – hard shift carrying all the DROSS we have
Moi – with correct support better than Eddy
Ajeti – Rubbish, get a grip Celtic who signed this failure, get rid
Turnbull – Hard shift, with all the sh1t around him

Strachan – wasted money, brings nothing to a down at heel team, get rid
Kennedy – One trick pony, not even the best team at Celtic, more like

TRIFC – are not even the best team in Govan,
Arfield – watch yer back, loves fouling you from behind
Aribo – looks drunk on success
Alki McGreegs – was wasting time at 60 mins, then runs after the ball to kick it away from himself, total p1sshead, check his water bottle
Kent – bonkers, thinks he’s Messi, more like Quasimodo

And for heaven’s sake take the biggest dud in Scottish football off the commentating. He’s got new KEECH (teeth) and he’s spitting all over everyone. Sheee what a shcceen – Dud as a manager, dud as a pundit.
McInnes too busy kissing erse, looking fur a job at Ipox, licking stamps in an office.

  4. And McGregor stayed on for the 90! Unbelievable!
I’d just like to tell everyone, I’m actually an international playboy gigallo millionaire.
Well if Kennedy’s going to call himself a football manager, why not!
2-0 down in a cup tie, and he waits until bthe last 18mins to think it might be a good idea to bring on a couple of proven goal scorers! Maybe McGregor was so invisible he didn’t see him to be fair!
    Moronic!
Rogic still sitting on the bench!
Is there some unwritten rule that you can’t make subs until after 20mins?
Is he afraid of hurting someone’s feelings?
If McGregor fancies his chances Dan say, on today’s performance, I’m sure Plymouth Argyle are on the look out for a tryer.
    Pathetic!
