REPORTS in Israel claim that Celtic midfielder Nir Bitton is subject to a bid of around 7million Euros from Spanish side Espanyol.

The 24-year-old is currently in Slovenia with the rest of the team but if there’s an offer of that ilk on the table it will certainly be discussed between Brendan Rodgers and the Celtic hierarchy.

Nir has been a midfield mainstay under previous boss Ronny Deila and with Brendan Rodgers just getting to know his side it remains to be seen if he would like to part with the Israeli international.

If a bid was to be accepted you would imagine that a lot of the funds would go straight back into the transfer coffers to be spent on players coming in.

Could we turn down such an offer?

  1. Well to be honest I would drive him there myself think he is too slow pedestrian passes square and holds onto the ball far to long and has no bottle sell him and give rogic decent contract HH

  2. I would bite thier hand of for €7m Euro’s
He is tòo slow.not enough aggresion and some of his passing is suicidal.
Liam Henderson is a better player.

  3. Sell. He lacks pace and is caught in possession too much. Not a great tackler either. Millions of EUROs? Yes, please!
