KRIS BOYD is trying his best at some Alex Ferguson-esk mind games ahead of Celtic’s tie with Kilmarnock this afternoon.
It’s less mind games and more mindless from the Kilmarnock man.
Killie come to Celtic top of the table albeit with two more games played than Celtic but it’s an achievement in itself.
Boyd puts all the pressure on Celtic by declaring the expectation is there for them to win the league while there is none on Kilmarnock but he does finish up with a ‘you never know’.
Brendan Rodgers will look to set out a team today who can dislodge Kilmarnock from the top of the table.
There will be little need to put a plan for Kris Boyd in place because he will likely be warming the bench.
Speaking about the Ayrshire side’s chances and the expectation on Celtic Boyd said:
“We go to Celtic Park with a plan in our heads which we think gives us a chance of winning the game.” Boyd told SunSport.
“Come the end of the season, of course there’s every chance Celtic will be champions once again.
“But as Leicester proved, you just never know.”
At least Boyd admits it’s between Killie and Celtic.
Rodgers has some big calls to make today, the team has virtually picked itself over November but with so many players back to full fitness the Irishman has a lot of options.
It comes down to this if we can not beat Kilmarnock at home then what is the point in all this our home games are must wins,so lets BOSS then today and take the points…
Lets do this
If we cant beat Kilmarnock at home.We dont deserve to win the league..Mon the HooPs
