Already beating Hibernian twice this season, both matches resulted in a 2-1 win, the ladies will look to continue their impressive form.

The Ghirls were supposed to be in action last weekend, but their cup tie against Edinburgh City was postponed.

As the team get back to league action, the ladies will look to close the four-point gap between third and first.  Glasgow City currently leads, with the Rangers team occupying second place with eleven games played.

Speaking to Celtic TV ahead of the match, manager Fran Alonso said this;

“We left the competition in a good place, we want to pick up where we left it”

“You will see a team that is very hungry not only to play and win, but to complete and feel the adrenaline you feel in competitive games”

Vice-captain Chloe Craig also spoke to Celtic TV, she had this to say about the match;

“It’ll be good to get back into games that are meaningful and we can push on and get focused on the goals we want to achieve by the end of the season.

Hibs will always be a tough game, especially after we beat them in the League Cup semi-final.”
