FORMER Celtic and Scotland Boss Gordon Strachan has given his verdict on the SPFL title race, including where he sees a certain Ibrox club being placed at the end of the season.

Strachan won three titles on the bounce while the Ex-Celtic manager has been surveying the current SPFL landscape and declared there seems to be only one winner in the title race and it won’t be the club from Ibrox.

On an episode of Sky Sports ‘The Debate‘, the former Celtic manager declared Celtic are too strong for any Ibrox side at the moment.

Strachan almost sounded patronising after he said a victory for Steven Gerrard’s men would be to push Celtic until nearer the end of the season which has upset many Gers fans online.

“Do I think Rangers can win it? Probably not.

“I just think that at this moment in time, Celtic have enough in their locker to get through.

“I think the win for Rangers over Celtic was very useful though because it made the backers realise that they were not that far away from them.

“But I think they will push Celtic and this could go down to the last couple of games of the season. Success would be to take them to the last two or three games of the season.”

Celtic beat Hibernian last night without some of their top stars. Ntcham, Rogic, Edouard, Benkovic, Griffiths, Forrest and many more.

As these players filter back into the team and this current crop of bhoys on fire at the moment – it’s reasonable to suggest, with a six-point gap, the title is within Celtic’s grasp.
