In the time which Mohamed Elyounoussi spent in Scotland on loan at Celtic, he became popular with some sections of the support over the two spells.

Although it might not have been as successful at a time as most would have liked – there is no doubting the Norweigan had quality, and he showed that at Parkhead with his goal contributions in the side.

He looks to be taking that over to his parent club in the English Premier League, Southampton, where he has started to become more of a regular feature in Ralph Hassenshutl’s side.

According to the Daily Record, thanks to those displays and also his performances with Norway over the international breaks, clubs such as Arsenal and Leicester are now starting to take an interest in the 27-year old.

At his age, he is coming into what should be the peak time of his career, so he will be hoping a move like this could possibly be on the horizon.

It would be interesting to see how Moi would take to a side further up the EPL, should he continue to keep up his displays in the Southampton side.

Of course, like any previous players who have spent time with the club, Celtic fans will likely continue to key somewhat of a close eye on how he does going forward in his career.
