Ex-Celtic youngster, Liam Morrison, has featured on the top 60 best young football talents.
Liam joined Bayern Munich last year in a dream move for any 17-year-old. Coming from a Scottish team to one of the biggest, if not the biggest side in Germany, is a massive move especially for someone as young as Liam.
Former Manchester City and Bayern Munich player, Martin Demichelis, has taken Morrison under his wing and given him “great advice” according to the ScottishSun.
The Guardian has named him amongst the top 60 young football talents born in 2003 which is a big feather in Liam’s cap. He has been promoted up to the under-19s team after a great first season with the Bundesliga giant’s.
The Hoops have lost a few fantastic young talents to Bayern Munich and another cash rich club, Manchester City.
One of Morrison’s hopes for the future is making it into the under-23s team who are in the Bundesliga 3rd league.
For Celtic, they need to find a way to entice younger players into the club. There’s no real path to the first team at present.
