BRENDAN RODGERS has sensationally reached out to Celtic Park officials after watching the Glasgow Derby from afar on Sunday.

We can exclusively reveal the Irishman told Leicester there’s no way he wants to manage a team without Scott Brown in it after watching the midfielder reduce half the Gers team to tears in Celtic’s Glasgow Derby win.

When asked if he would like to sign Scott Brown by the Leicester board the manager begrudgingly admitted Broony would not waste his time in a tin pot league down south.

Moves are now underway to reinstate the former Celtic manager to his old contract with Neil Lennon getting a move to the green brigade in the summer.

Peter Lawwell is set to play hardball with Rodgers though, as he looks to half his annual salary but put in a ‘bag a cans’ clause if the Irishman wins ten in a row.

Poor Leicester.
