Fabrizio Romano, has claimed Celtic manager, Ange Postecoglou, is on the shortlist of Tottenham Hotspur’s chairman to become their next manager.

While this news might be a cause for concern for some, we believe there’s little to worry about. Here’s why.

Ange Postecoglou, since his arrival at Celtic, has been nothing short of a revelation. His tactical acumen, player management, and sheer passion for the game have breathed new life into our beloved club. Under his leadership, Celtic has not only performed exceptionally on the pitch but also rekindled the fiery spirit lost during the Covid season.

Postecoglou’s work at Celtic has been nothing short of miraculous. He has transformed a team that was struggling to find its feet into a formidable force on the chase for a treble. His philosophy of attacking, possession-based football has not only brought results but also made Celtic a joy to watch.

Given his success at Celtic, it’s no surprise that other clubs, including Spurs, are taking notice. However, we firmly believe that Postecoglou is not a man to be swayed by the glitz and glamour of the Premier League or the promise of a bigger wage packet. His ambition appears to go beyond personal gain.

Leaving for Spurs would not only mean abandoning the project he has started here but also severing the bond he has formed with the Celtic family. While the time will come for Ange to move on, we hope he does it at the right time for the right opportunity. Jumping at the first club to show an interest would see him fall into Brendan Rodgers territory. We think he’s a much more tactful person than the Irishman.
