CELTIC have been keeping a close eye on the progress of 20–year–old Polish super kid Szymon Wlodarczyk, who has been compared to Robert Lewandowski.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano [via the Daily Record] recently revealed that Celtic are among the clubs interested in signing the Gornik Zabrze striker, who has scored eight goals in 16 starts this season.
However, it will take a bid of £3.5 million to persuade his club to sell.
Wlodarczyk has expressed his desire for a fresh start, saying: [Daily Record]
“as a footballer, you realise when a change is inevitable, and when you need a fresh start”
This has only stirred the interest in the forward and it seems that Celtic could be the club to give him the opportunity to shine.
With the Hoops in the hunt, we’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for this exciting young talent, but if he is to live up to his name, it sure would be an exciting signing which will have many fans pleased.
