Neil Lennon has been given a boost today as both Odsonne Edouard and Nir Bitton were spotted in training which suggests they could be on their way to making a return to fitness after a tough two weeks.

As reported by the Daily Record, photos were released from this morning’s training session, which saw the players sporting ‘show racism the red card’ t-shirts, which showed a return to training for a few familiar names who have been missing in recent weeks.

Both Edouard and Bitton tested positive for Covid-19  whilst on international duty, and were forced into self-isolation. As well as these two, fellow Israeli and Celtic defender Hatem Elhamed tested positive whilst Ryan Christie was also forced to self-isolate after coming in close contact with Stuart Armstrong, with Scotland.

We are still awaiting the return of Elhamed who’s isolation is set to end tomorrow but to have the other three back is definitely a boost for the side.

Christie of course made his return on Thursday night against AC Milan, playing a key part in a much improved second-half performance. Odsonne Edouard is still to make his return, which could still come tomorrow but is more likely to be on Thursday night.

So you would imagine, similarly to the Frenchman, it may take Bitton a couple of games to build up his fitness again, after being badly effected from this deadly virus.
