In today’s press conference which was live-streamed on Celtic’s social media channels including YouTube, Ange was quizzed many times on possible transfers.

Throughout the past few weeks, there have been man reports detailing Celtic’s interest in players and in some cases that Celtic have submitted an offer for a player.

While in isolation in London, Ange assured Celtic fans that he was busy working. He even stated today in his first press conference that he was up at 3 in the morning looking at players to bring in to Celtic.

The club will look to welcome some players before Celtic’s Champions League Qualifying Round commences in less than 4 weeks.

As quoted by RecordSport, speaking about when signings could be announced the new boss said;

Yesterday?

The club’s working hard and I’m trying to push them as hard as I can.

We hope to make some announcements very, very soon.

There are positions where there’s some urgency because of that (Midtjylland) game.

It is encouraging to see Postecoglou push the board to sign players as this is demonstrating he is not just another so-called ‘yes man’.

It was also confirmed that areas of improvement have been identified and will be given priority when it comes to signings.
