Celtic have been without four very big players the last few games, which makes their winning streak all the more impressive.

There’s good news on the injury front for the four players who have already played a pivotal role in Celtic’s season – Dembele, Griffiths, Armstrong and Rogic have all began light training again ahead of this weekend’s tie against St Johnstone.

Rogic has been out for about a month now, Griffiths has been struggling since the winter break while Dembele and Armstong’s injuries have occurred fairly recently. it was only last Wednesday Armstrong was named in the starting XI only to suffer an injury in the warm up.

Assistant manager Chris Davies addressed the media at Lennoxtown earlier today and confirmed that all four are in contention for Sunday.

“All four lads will be assessed ahead of Sunday’s game.” said the assistant manager.

This will give the team and fans a boost as Celtic look to continue this excellent vein of form which has seen them sit alone at the top of the league a massive 25 points ahead of second place.
