CELTIC had a frustrating 95 minutes at Dens Park before the finally broke down a Dundee side who had put up so much resistance in the game.

Between strong defending and some great saves from their goalkeeper, it looked like Celtic were about to drop another two points in the SPFL.

However, James Forrest breached the defence and made a very late cutback to Edouard who put it into the back of the net. The Celtic fans went crazy, the players were elated and Neil Lennon may not be the next full time Celtic manager but we may need to sign him as a winger!

Celtic are now ten points clear with Steven Gerrard’s men visiting Celtic Park in two weeks time. The international break is up next and Celtic will just be hoping everyone who goes out comes back healthy.

Their performance wasn’t up to scratch and the bhoys must do better if they want to close this title asap.

  1. Great win and dooooooo happy but after 4 games in charge of tactically inept, bland footy and baffling team selection and subs please please please don’t give Neil the job full time it would be torture.

  2. #Che serra, serra, whatever will be, will be. The Tims scored late at dundee. Che serra Che serra#

The huns drew wae the killy pies yesterday. Now before the nintyfith minute today the thought maybe it was all over. IT IS NOW

  3. Lennon May be iconic and he may be passionate, but today he demonstrated a lack of tactical awareness. He seems to have favourites, which is a weakness. We were playing a resolute, but dire Scottish team who are second from bottom.

Lennon has the best players in Scotland available to him, even with some injuries. Why the hell are we not playing with two strikers against a team like Dundee? Odsonne is effective, but would be much more effective with another striker up front with him. Any decent coach would know this. We had 3 other strikers on the bench. When will Bayo get a game? What about Burke? Weah was brought on near the end. Any of these could have been paired with Odsonne to great effect.

It’s all very well jumping up and down and running to the corner flag, but Forrest and Edouard dug Lenny out of a hole today. It will be nice if Lenny gets us the 3rd treble, but I am not convinced he can take us to the next level on a permanent basis. He looked uncomfortable for most of the game and needs to be brave and make use of the best and appropriate players for any given situation. With all that in mind, we did win ………. but?
