FC Stjarnan took to their twitter page to thank Celtic and the people of Scotland for their hospitality.
The Icelandic club were overwhelmed by the greeting they got as they came to watch their team play at Celtic Park in the Champions League qualifier.
The Stjarnan and Celtic fans were both mingling before the game, sharing pictures and generally being friendly.
Celtic ran out 2-0 winners on the night but that didn’t stop the club from posting this message on their twitter.
Our biggest and warmest thank you to the people of Scotland. You can be truly proud of your great country. Welcome to Iceland #friendship

We now look forward to heading over to Iceland to receive a warm welcome from our Champions League opponents. Our Euro Blogger Howard Gilbert is heading over for the game and is looking forward to seeing Celtic in action. Whatever friendship has built between the two clubs on this visit will be put aside as Celtic look to advance to the next round of qualifiers.
Hail Hail to Stjarnan!
