CELTIC look to have finally got their man after a long drawn out negotiation which at one time involved players going the other way.

With Jack Hendry and Calvin Miller not keen on a deal to Rugby Park the move for Greg Taylor had stalled.

However, the clubs have been locked in talks with each other all day and now Celtic have agreed a fee with no players going to Killie as part of the deal.

Mail Sport journalist Stephen McGowan confirmed the agreement on his social media page.

Things look to be getting close to completion and Taylor should be a Celtic player shortly.

This looks like Celtic’s last significant piece of business in this transfer window.

There has been talk of Celtic bringing in a right-back from Manchester City but we’ve not heard anything else on that since it was reported this morning.

There was a pipe dream of Wanyama coming back but that was shot down this afternoon by Ronnie Charters of STV.
