LEWIS FERGUSON was sent off during Celtic’s 3-0 win over Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup. The young Dons player made an outrageous tackle on Tom Rogic who was lucky to escape the tackle without a severe injury.

The Bhoys kept their cool as Aberdeen used some pretty underhand tactics to try and gain an edge in the game. However, the plan was no use as Celtic shrugged the Dons side off to make the final against Hearts in May.

Lewis is the son of Derek Ferguson and the nephew of former Ibrox player Barry Ferguson. The link between Lewis and his family to the Ibrox club is strong, and the Aberdeen player looked to act the hard man as he walked off the pitch.

Speaking about the tackle his Dad, Derek Ferguson told BBC Radio Scotland: “It was rash and it was dangerous.

“I’ve spoken to him about it, and I’m not even sure he knows why he did it.

“He lost his cool. He might have got a bit panicky about how the game was going – it was getting away from them.

Celtic will take on Hearts in the final of this years Scottish Cup. The Bhoys are on the brink of a historic treble treble.

If they can secure the feat, Neil Lennon could be Celtic’s next permanent manager.
