FIFA are getting set to announce a group of measures to help leagues and clubs through the shutdown MailSport reports.

The measures will see contracts being able to be extended past their cut off date and transfer windows moved to accommodate the season being able to be finished.

This would make it much clearer on what personnel clubs would have if the season can kick off further down the line.

Right now, we’re in a position where many players who would have had a say in the outcome of the league not being able to play for clubs past June.

FIFA measures will allow players contracts to carry over and facilitate this by not opening the transfer window hen its due to open this summer.

This could add more clarity and provisions for leagues holding tight in the hope they can play out the remainder of their seasons.

More to follow as we get specifics.
