One of the big talking points from a Celtic fans point of view is if the season can comeback, what will our squad look like?

If we’re able to salvage the season in some way, it’s likely this will take place after June. That means a lot of contracts and loan deals expire at the end of May leaving clubs without key players they should have had for the run-in.

The two major deals from Celtic point of view is the loan contracts of both Fraser Forster and Mohamed Elyounoussi. Both are due back at Southampton this summer and Fraser especially has been pivotal to Celtic’s success this term.

FIFA released guidelines yesterday which has handed Celtic a major boost.

You can watch the full two and a half minute video below but the crux of the statement reveals FIFA want deals that were due to expire at the end of the season to continue and expire when they finally do get to the end of the season.

This means if all parties are on board, Fraser Forster and Moi can both stay at the club until then.

This would mean Celtic would have to agree to keep paying the percentage of their wages until football comes back. If that looks likely, then it’s a no brainer.
