Good things come to those who wait, and well, you’ve had to wait a long time, but it’s nearly here!

The announcement this week by Konami that Celtic Park will finally be added to the game a whopping SEVEN months after they told us it was coming will be welcome news to the people who bought the game on this premise.

It was back in July time when the PES2019 whipped gaming Celtic fans up into a frenzy by announcing their iconic stadium, known to the fans as Paradise would finally be getting designed and put in a top football game. It has been a talking point for years how both titles – FIFA and PES have neglected Celtic Park from their games.

However, PES went big with their announcement as the game was about to drop a whole month before FIFA. Of course, PES did mention the stadium wouldn’t be playable straight off the bat, but they never gave us a lengthy timeframe for its inclusion.

We were invited to talk about the game with the PES team back in July, and they were really positive about the potential of this game and grabbing new fans with their extra incentives. After letting us have a shot of the title at Celtic Park the Konami team headed for Lennoxtown where they scanned all the Celtic players so they could begin the process of adding their likeness to the game.

This has also been something fans have complained about, and it’s taken a while for these scans to make their way into the game, BUT we’re told they are now coming and the major Celtic download will be available for both consoles on February 7th.

The images do look stunning, and we may pick up a copy just to have our own personal look at how accurate they’ve managed to get it.
