CELTIC had a large overhaul in the summer due to loan deals and contracts expiring and next year could be the same if we look at the current state of play with loan deals and contracts.

There are FIVE players out of contract at the end of the season for the bhoys. (TransferMarkt)

  • Calvin Miller
  • Scott Sinclair
  • Nir Bitton
  • Craig Gordon
  • Jonny Hayes

How many of them will be kept on, if any? Nir Bitton may get a new deal under Neil Lennon but the others looks like they will run down their contract and move on if they’re not sold in January.

Then you add the three loan players to that mix with

  • Moritz Bauer
  • Mohamad Elyounoussi
  • Fraser Forster

Could Celtic land one of these players on a permanent basis when the time comes?

The bhoys have a big season ahead of them in terms of going for nine in a row. These lads will be doing their best for the club until next summer then who knows what will happen.

Scott Sinclair looks like he will be gone as quick as January while others may stick around a little bit longer.

Celtic still have quite a large squad but the Celtic manager has at least two players for every position which is a good place to be.
