Celtic are getting their players back slowly but surely. It was only two final games before the international break that we could call on Callum McGregor and Kyogo. Both are now fully back into the squad and ready to make a big difference.

There are still FIVE players who are still to return for the club, and I’d argue four of them are first team starters.

Josip Juranovic, Christopher Jullien, James Forrest, Greg Taylor and Karamoko Dembele.

As per Ange’s media press conference on CelticTV, the prognosis on three of the players above is good.

Juranovic is nearly back in contention and James Forrest alongside Christopher Jullien will be back sooner rather than later.

We can’t underestimate missing some key players from this team for large portions of the season.

It speaks to how unlucky we’ve been with injuries but also how underprepared we were for taking a hit on players dropping like flies.

Greg Taylor and Karamoko Dembele are out for the foreseeable. Taylor is still rehabbing from shoulder surgery while nobody knows Karamoko’s timelines because the mainstream media never ask.

Celtic Fan media have been locked out of first team pressers all season and can’t ask the question.

There should be a big difference to the side when we get most of these lads back.

  1. There’s no excuses. Every Celtic player is better than every Motherwell player so it’s down to the manager to fit the system to suit the game, otherwise he’ll be gone. Brendan always managed to find a way to win with superior players so the current manager must do the exact same thing in the exact same circumstances. 3 points or else.

  2. Thank god we are getting most of our injured players back in the next few games we will have more depth in the sqaud. I would like too see Scales get a good run out i think he will make a big difference too the team
