There were people who questioned Callum McGregor’s credentials for being the Celtic captain.

Scott Brown’s leadership left people believing we needed a combative player in the middle of the park to command the armband.

Sometimes you just need to lead by example and have the players respect.

Callum certainly falls into that category and he’s been a great captain under Ange Postecoglou so far.

It was touching to see Callum pull all the coaching staff into the trophy celebrations at Hampden.

All the players had collected their medals and Callum was about to go lift the trophy, but not before he got everyone involved.

It’s brilliant to see, there’s a real togetherness in the Celtic camp.

The Hoops had to dig deep at the national stadium to get a result. Coming from a goal behind against Hibernian to win the game 2-2. A brace from Kyogo was enough to seal the victory and have Celtic fans celebrating long into the night.

  1. Nice article pointing this out. Thank you.
However, just a wee correction to make – we won 2-1 not 2-2.
Sorry for being pedantic, but I think it better to change this if possible.
