A blast from the past appeared on our social media feed this Sunday evening.
John Thompson, former Celtic defender shared video highlights of a Motherwell game from ten years ago where, at the time, the young defender grabbed a double.
Thompson came into a troubled Celtic side and was a towering presence but he never made the grade in the end.
His career mapped out below:
Stockport County
Celtic
Rochdale loan
Peterborough United loan
Chesterfield loan
Portsmouth
Colchester United loan
Colchester United
Tranmere Rovers loan
Tranmere Rovers
Southport
Macclesfield Town
Atherton Collieries
Playing part-time football now for Atherton Collieries the Englishman also works as an MSK Physiotherapist at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
It does seem like a lifetime ago since that Celtic team played and Josh was part of it.
The 30-year-old reminisced about his double against the Steelmen and revealed his pride at pulling on the Hoops jersey.
Going back 10 years to a cold Tuesday night in Glasgow in what seems like a previous life!
Plenty ups and downs since this game but will always be proud to have had the opportunity to enjoy the journey

Great to hear the player is still in the game and is doing well for himself.
