It has been a long and winding road for Celtic loan bhoy Daniel Arzani. He came in on a two-year loan deal with high hopes he could do some damage in a Hoops jersey. When he finally got the nod from Brendan Rodgers in2018, disaster struck and the player tore his ACL.
Ever since the young man has been in recovery to recover from the horrific and lengthy injury. Over a year after it happened, he’s still not kicked a ball for Celtic and with six months left of his current Celtic deal, there’s many who feel the player’s chance has gone.
However, the player sent out a defiant message on his Instagram account this week. Arzani has told his followers he’s ready to get back onto the pitch after taking the final steps in his recovery.
