Celtic were in training on Friday afternoon ahead of their Scottish Cup tie against Raith Rovers On Sunday.

Ange Postecoglou is expected to make changes for the lower league side’s visit to Celtic Park but to what extent?

We finally have decent squad depth for the first time this season so even if we do make changes for the game, there’s still likely to be a very strong team.

One man who hasn’t been given a second thought in recent times is Albian Ajeti. The Swiss striker has been out with an injury as of late but trained with the first team squad ahead of the Raith Rovers game.

Could Ajeti make the bench or is there just too much squad depth now for the player to be considered?

Once Kyogo is back in the frame for a starting place, Ajeti would be behind him, Maeda, Giakoumakis and probably Liel Abada.

We all know the club will likely look to sell Albian in the summer but does he have a bit part to play between now and the end of the season?

  1. we know he is not in our plans ,so why give him game time ahead of a youth player/fringe player who is in the long term plan.Just take the loss and get rid of him off the wage bill.
