There is a number of changes to the Celtic side which defeated Ross County 2-1 on Saturday with some players being given much needed game time [Celtic FC].

Benjamin Siegrist features in goal for the Scottish champions having only managed two appearances so far this season in the League Cup.

Usual number one Joe Hart is missing from the team meaning he will likely be saved for Sunday’s clash against English Premier League side Everton.

At the back there is only a change to the centre back pairing with Stephen Welsh and Carl Starfelt in from the start with the latter looking to build up his game time still. They are joined by fullbacks Anthony Ralston and Alexandro Bernabei who started at the weekend.

There are also two alterations to the Celtic midfield with Oliver Abildgaard and Yosuke Ideguchi coming in to join David Turnbull.

Turnbull has also been building his minuted up recently but Abilgaard has been tipped as a player who was identified for the second part of the season with this being his first start in Hoops. Ideguchi hasn’t played for Celtic since pre-season so it’s good to see him back in the side.

Finally, up top Celtic are strong with James Forrest and Liel Abada on either wing with the veteran winger Forrest being handed the captaincy. Kyogo retains his place from the weekend and starts through the middle.
